The working principle of the kiln; the kiln is fed from the top, the combustion chamber is in the center and the outer body. When moving down of the plaster in the opposite direction (upward) of hot air the calcination performing and β beta type plaster is produced. This type of kiln is static type and the plaster moves by gravity. The quality of plaster is better comparing to flash calcination and rotary kiln because of occurring pressure inside of the kiln. Known as α alpha plaster is more durable and it used for different purposes (dentists and ceramic mold plaster). Some part of produced plaster from vertical kiln is alfa type. Vertical kiln calcination is able for construction plaster and able for plasterboard plant. GYP MAC is a manufaturer vertical kiln calcination and other gypsum calciners.
